About
I have 6 years of professional experience in housekeeping and cleaning, gained in Australia. I started out working for cleaning companies and, over the years, gained enough experience to set up and run my own housekeeping business, House Proud.
During that time, I worked with private homes and short-let accommodation, including Airbnb, carrying out regular cleans, deep cleans and preparing spaces for the arrival of the next guests.
I took care of all the details needed to ensure the home was truly ready to welcome people: bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, organising, changing and making beds, cleaning surfaces and floors, and all those little details that often go unnoticed.
To me, a good clean goes far beyond the basics. I like to leave each space clean, organised, fresh and well cared for, whether it's for the owner coming home after a day's work or a guest arriving and feeling they are stepping into a space prepared especially for them.
Running my own business also taught me a great deal about organisation, punctuality, responsibility, trust and attentiveness to each client's needs.
After a few years in Australia, I came to Portugal for personal reasons and decided to bring with me all the experience I had built up in this field. I am currently based in the Cascais and Oeiras area and am looking for opportunities where I can continue doing the work I truly love.
I have a great fondness for housekeeping work. After all, we are looking after a very personal space for each client. I enter a home with respect and care, and I always aim to leave it just as I would like to find it myself.
I also have experience using essential oils, where appropriate and according to the client's preference, as part of a more pleasant and thoughtful cleaning experience.
I am a dedicated, responsible professional with a keen eye for detail, and I take great pride in delivering work carried out with care and expertise.
